Environmentalists’ Forum at Serenbe
A group of nearly 40 people gathered at the Blue Eyed Daisy for the first meeting of a potentially
influential group of environmentalists. The group discussed ways they could positively impact
the “green” mission, and plan to meet on a regular basis.
The CDC’s Dr. Howard Frumkin lectured Serenbe residents
and
guests on climate change and how it affects our health.
Serenbe’s first grocery, Harris & Clark, had a pre-opening tasting for
residents and guests. The grocery is scheduled to open this summer.
Hil Toast
Serenbe announced that Hilary White will be the executive chef of The Hil, the community’s
new restaurant opening in August. Hilary’s husband, Jim White, will be the restaurant’s manager.
The residents celebrated with a champagne toast.
Arden Zinn of Arden’s Garden visited the Blue Eyed Daisy to tell the story of her successful Atlanta juice company and give tips on healthy living.
