Steve Nygren welcomes Governor Sonny Perdue to Serenbe, where he announced
introduction of the Georgia Land Conservation Act.
More than 200 public officials, government leaders and members of the media came to
Serenbe to hear the Governor's plans for conserving green space throughout Georgia.
On a spring-like day in January, visitors enjoyed the hospitality that characterizes all
gatherings at Serenbe.
Recognizing the significance of the Governor's announcement, representatives of
multiple broadcast and print media outlets traveled to Serenbe to cover the story.
In his speech, Governor Perdue stressed the importance of land conservation efforts
such as those underway in the Chattahoochee Hill Country.
