Serenbe residents and neighbors from the Chattahoochee Hill Country gathered together on July 4th for a day of festivities. The fun started with a parade down Selborne Lane-folks dressed in varying costumes (from “Dan the Ice Cream man” to Uncle Sam to flag-painted faces) rode in cars, on horses, bikes, tractors and wagons down to the Daisy, where the large crowd cheered them on. A group of residents instituted what is sure to be a Serenbe tradition with the first “Watermelon Brigade,” complete with Watermelon Pageant queens and a huge watermelon float. In the evening, residents enjoyed a potluck dinner at the
Inn at Serenbe's pavilion by the pond.
