Summer at Serenbe means streets abuzz with activity, lazy afternoons spent on your front porch, having a sunset cocktail on the veranda of The Hil, beautiful green trees and a blooming wildflower meadow, stocking up on organic farm-fresh produce at the weekly farmers’ market, impromptu potluck dinners, planning an outrageous costume for the July 4th Parade, preparing a picnic for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra concert at our neighboring park on July 5, looking forward to how our chefs have used this week’s harvest from the Serenbe Farms. About 20 percent of our homeowners call California or New York home for most of the year, but they summer at Serenbe, and we’re excited to welcome them back. And we’re excited to welcome our visitors, whether they’re here for one meal, shopping in our boutiques and galleries, a day in nature, or a week at the Inn.
If we haven’t seen you recently, we hope you’ll visit soon. Come for the critically-acclaimed farm-fresh cuisine at The Farmhouse, The Hil or the Blue Eyed Daisy Bakeshop. Come to shop in our locally-owned boutiques, gourmet grocery, and fine art galleries (read about new shops EcoMeme, The Bilt-House, Getting Around & Newington Gallery below). Come on a Saturday for the Serenbe Farmers’ Market and give your child the treat of a few hours at Camp Serenbe, or enroll them in a week of camp at the Serenbe Stables. Or maybe your day’s agenda is as simple as walking the trail from the Selborne Courtyard to the treehouse, where you can sit with your family and catch lightning bugs in a Mason jar. As a little bonus, we find that our tree-shaded neck of the woods is about 10 degrees cooler than the city.

Option 1: Bypass the connector using I-285 or I-20 if easily accessible from your starting destination
Option 2: Travel to the southside of the city using Northside Drive:
-- Start out going southwest on Northside Drive SW (also posted as US-19/ US-29/ US-41/ GA-3)
-- Turn slight left onto Ralph David Abernathy Blvd SW shortly after crossing under I-20.

An eco-lifestyle boutique, this chic space is filled with unique items from apparel to baby gifts to dog products—best of all, everything is totally “green” and environmentally friendly. Ladies’ and men’s clothing items feature styles fresh from L.A., exclusive to Atlanta. Newington Gallery
Greg Newington made a name for himself as a photojournalist in Australia, working for some of the country’s most respected publications. Now a Serenbe resident, Greg has opened his first fine art photography gallery, featuring works from his travels across the nation (and inside Serenbe), plus works from emerging photographers. A fun crowd of ATL fabsters hit the road for the Serenbe community in Palmetto for the opening of the Newington Gallery, featuring the photography of Greg Newington, who greeted guests along with wife Maripat. The weather was great so everyone stepped outside to enjoy Stephen Satterfield’s spread of wine, honeycomb, gourmet cheeses and nuts. The Bilt-house
Serenbe is excited to welcome one of Roswell & Buckhead’s favorite shops to Serenbe--Jan Bilthouse’s boutique features her well-loved mix of women's clothing, novelty items, furniture, jewelry from local designers, handbags and shoes. The shop often hosts trunk shows from local designers and artists like Clint Zeagler of Pecan Pie Couture. This Saturday, Atlanta jewelry designer Elisabeth Taylor will be in the store from 10 am – 6 p.m. Jan and her husband, Ed, are now weekend residents of Serenbe.
